My last check-in was from Whitewood, South Dakota. I have been a bad girl when it comes to updating our site.
We arrived in Minneapolis in mid-December. It was so nice to see the in-laws, plus our fabulous nieces.
I also had a chance to catch up with some friends. It was truly a wonderful holiday season.
It was a low-key new year's eve, but that is the way we like it.
Jeff even squeezed in some very chilly ice-fishing with his pops.
We left on the 3rd, bound for Nashville. Jeff has never been, so we decided to explore Music City.

We took in a hockey game, explored some culinary delights at Adele's and Catbird Seat, we even got to see a dear family friend play the saxaphone, Jay Patton.
The best reunion was with one Eddie King, my fabulous friend and co-host at the now deceased Wolf radio station.
He is as amazing as ever. Too bad Ken missed the reunion.
After Nashville, we arrived in Robbinsville, North Carolina.
I used to come up here with my family when I was a kid. My sister and I would hike and explore for hours.
The memories came flooding back and it was so great to share all of it with Jeff.
Some dear dear family friends are here. They are like my back-up set of parents. It has been so fantastic spending time with them.

They are the the best hosts, amazing chefs and tour guides.
I will be sad to leave on Monday, however, the next stop is Myrtle Beach, South Carolina...
This is where a Foley & Thunder reunion awaits. I can't wait to sing some karoake and own that town.
I also want to share that I want to take this to the next level. It involves videos and a whole lot of adventure.
